In addition to the clean energy resource, Tangent maintains the asset to ensure optimal performance and also provides an active management technology that reduces the price customers pay for the balance of their energy needs.
The active management technology platform intelligently monitors the energy situation at the customer’s facility, as well as signals from the utility and power pool; and selectively adjusts usage levels to avoid premium pricing situations. By managing both supply and demand, Tangent is able to lower energy prices with little or no disruption to normal operations. The result is energy savings of 10% to 20% per year.
